Legacy Academy is a private, Christian discipleship school serving students from preschool through 12th grade. With our recent building expansion, we have more than doubled our classroom space, allowing us to serve even more students. As enrollment continues to grow in response to the shifting landscape of public education, we are expanding our team and looking for teachers at all levels who are passionate about making a difference in students’ lives.

What Our Educators Do

Create engaging and enriching learning experiences that leverage your skills and talents

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Legacy Academy’s goals and standards

Clearly communicate assignments, expectations, and objectives to students

Track, assess, and communicate student progress with students, parents, and administration

Discern and respond to individual student needs with support from administration

Establish and maintain a safe, structured, and effective learning environment

Maintain accurate and organized records

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, students, and administration

Actively participate in school activities and community life

Foster a joyful, creative, and engaging classroom environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher – preferably in Education, or in a related field with strong subject-matter expertise (Science, Math, English, or other core subjects)

Ability to meet all state and federal requirements, including background check and fingerprinting

Current CPR/Basic First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
